Powerchair Hockey fans, mark your calendars! From October 24 to 26, 2025, the picturesque town of De Rijp in North Holland will be the stage for international top-level competition. This is when the IPCH Scout Mobility – Dutch Nations Cup 2025 will take place – an officially recognized tournament by the International Powerchair Hockey Committee (IPCH), and a key event on the world ranking circuit. The tournament also serves as important preparation for the World Championship in Finland in 2026.

The event is organized by Stichting Orange & Wheels, in collaboration with the Dutch Floorball and Unihockey Federation (NeFUB), World Abilitysport, and the IPCH.

Up to six top national teams will compete, following official IPCH rules.

Participating countries: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Switzerland, and reigning European Champion The Netherlands.

Participants

Netherlands

The reigning European champions are hungry for more. After losing the 2022 World Championship final in overtime, the Dutch are determined to bring back their historical dominance in powerchairhockey and finally claim the world crown again.

Denmark

The current World Champions and bronze medalists at last year’s European Championship. With a mix of experienced veterans and rising stars, Denmark will do everything to keep the world title in their hands.

Italy

World Champions in 2018 on home soil, Italy is eager to return to the top with new, young, blood in their squad. After missing the podium in the last two major tournaments, they’re ready to unleash their trademark Italian defense and passion.

Switzerland

Switzerland keeps growing, proving their strength by defeating some of the world’s best teams. Yet, an international title has so far eluded them. With relentless work ethic and strong determination, they are pushing harder than ever to bring a major cup home.

Finland

Hosts of the 2026 World Championship in Pajulahti currently ranked world number 6. The Finns dream of winning their first ever major title on home ground, making this tournament of great importance in their journey. SUOMI!

Belgium

A nation with rich history in Powerchair Hockey, winning silver at both the 2014 World and 2016 European Championships. With young talents and a fresh coaching staff, Belgium is rebuilding towards a bright future back at the top.
